The vast majority of Hearts supporters don’t want either Celtic OR Rangers to win the Premiership.

It follows from that basic position that it doesn’t matter to Hearts supporters how close a contest it is between the two members of the Glasgow duopoly which has dominated the Scottish Premiership since that fateful day in Dundee in 1986.

So, to be clear, I want Celtic to thrash Rangers tomorrow – and every other time the teams meet this season.

There is just a chance Hearts can squeeze into 2nd in the Premiership if Rangers collapse.

So let’s hope they do!
