I didn’t know too much about Steve Clarke until his stint as manager of Kilmarnock.

When at Rugby Park, Steve proved himself to be an exceptional manner. With little money to spend, he still put together an excellent team.

He turned down some opportunities before accepting the role of Scotland boss.

Since his arrival as National Manager, Clarke has brought optimism, organisation and consistency to a squad previously devoid of all three characteristics.

I firmly believe Steve Clarke will take Scotland to the World Cup Finals for the first time in nearly 25 years.

He has earned his success.
