Stephen Gerrard has done an excellent job at Ibrox, aided by a complacent Celtic Board that thought a Rangers challenge was impossible – and despite the fact the Rangers Board has not invested a penny in the last two transfer windows.
Who knows, Stephen might be at the pumps again after Rangers play Hearts on 16 October – but it will not matter a jot in the long run.
Hearts and Hibs both know what they MUST do to win the league.
Firstly, they must beat Celtic and Rangers at home.
Secondly, they must grind out win after win against the other clubs in the Premiership.
From what I have seen of Hearts this season, they can do what they MUST do. It is possible Hibs can do the same.
I do not believe Hearts will go to Govan frozen by fear. They may well win. Should they do so, Hearts supporters – myself included – will be ecstatic.
But what is vitally important is that neither the team or supporters buy the Old Firm propagated myth that you have to win in Glasgow to win the league.
You don’t.
And either Hearts or Hibs can prove that this season.
We MUST see new Premiership Champions in May 2022.
Time for Change.

I fervently hope that you are right, but suspect that for whatever reason you will unfortunately be proved wrong. As a Partick Thistle supporter nothing would give me more pleasure than seeing the SPFL title go to Easter Road or Tyncastle.
