Instead of enjoying a great follow up season, the transfer antics of his Chairman have left the club in a total mess, struggling to field a half-decent first eleven against Rangers.
A St Johnstone player was sold to Wigan because the wages offered were “life changing”.
Life changing wages from Wigan?
The player in question is young. He had plenty of time to wait for a genuinely life-changing offer from an English Premier League or Championship side. Going to a lower division club may simply ruin his career, as he sinks into his obscurity, with no hope of winning anything.
So the manager has been let down by the Board – and so has the player.
Such Boards must rethink – or leave.
