Craig Gordon is an excellent goalkeeper and person.
As a goalkeeper, he was considered worth £9 million in 2007.
As a person, he is priceless.
He has shown significant loyalty to Hearts, returning to his first club when he would have had better financial offers.
He is on his way to being a Hearts Legend, if not there already.
Craig deserves better than to be captain of a club with zero chance of winning the Scottish Premiership; an Also Ran.
Yet that is the position in which he now funds himself.
The financial and structural arrangements of the Scottish Premiership MUST be altered to give Craig – and others – a genuine opportunity to be league winners.
NOW. In 2021.
Time for Change.
