The duopoly of Celtic & Rangers is effectively the market-maker for young Scottish players.
The Old Firm are prepared to pay only peanuts, so foreign clubs know that peanuts plus pennies can get them any Also Ran player.
It is a disgrace that this situation has been allowed to continue for decades. The Competition Authorities should have acted to end in the duopoly in the Public Interest.
2021 needs to be the year of action, to give back hope to Scottish football.
