All bar Celtic & Rangers want to be in our position, says Neilson – CORRECT! #SPFL #Hearts #ScottishPremiership

Robbie Neilson knows that defeatism is always just around the corner at Tynecastle.

Not on the pitch or in the dugout.

In the Stands.

The Boo Boys lie in wait for every slip up, ready to announce their next bout of clinical depression.

Yet Hearts have only lost to Celtic and Rangers in the league in Edinburgh this season – and remain third in the Premiership, despite a very disappointing performance and result recently in Aberdeen.

After that defeat, nearly 500 people went on to Hearts Twitter feed, most asking for “change”.

The change they need is in their own heads.

They are Negatives and it is boring to read and/or listen to them at matches.

Keep your negativity, your boos, to yourselves.

Lee Johnson, the Hibs manager, is another Negative.

Just yesterday, he was telling the Herald that it would take an Arab Sheikh to come to Scotland to knock the Old Firm off their perches.

Complete rubbish.

Rangers spent a few £Million to stop Celtic winning 10-in-a-row recently.

No oil wells required.

There is enough money amongst the Hearts Board and within the Foundation of Hearts to end the Glasgow duopoly that has been a curse on Scottish football for nearly four decades.

They need to start spending that money in the Summer. The Hearts recruitment team shouldn’t be tracking £200,000 players in the lower divisions of Europe.

The minimum notional valuation – the amount his current club would ask for a long-term contracted player- for a mature signing for Hearts should be £1 million.

If a mature player is not worth £1 million, he is highly unlikely to be of the standard required at Tynecastle.

Think BIG – and act BIG.

Survival has been achieved – but, as Hearts prepare to celebrate their 150th birthday, it is nowhere near enough.

SPEND what is required to bring the Premiership title to West Edinburgh.

There is no time for further delay.

Tomorrow has arrived – NOW is the time for ACTION and CHANGE.

BELIEVE.
