Celtic are NOT light years ahead of Hearts but Robbie Neilson needs support of Board in Summer Transfer Window. #Hearts #SPFL #FoH #JamesAnderson

Most of the media in Scotland really enjoy the Glasgow duopoly which has been squeezing the life out of Scottish football for 37 seasons.

No other significant league on the planet has suffered such a damaging domination by two clubs, stretching over four decades.

Celtic and Rangers, aided and abetted by compliant board members at other clubs, have manufactured a situation where their control seems inevitable, almost a “Right”.

And the media lap this up, like docile little kittens at a milk saucer, nurturing the story line that all that matters is which one of the two Glasgow giants wins the league – and for how many “in-a-row” one or other can continue domination of the two-horse race.

I have firmly stated before that the Glasgow duopoly is working illegally against the Public Interest.

However, I have held off instigating legal action because there have been stirrings of hope at Hearts that the Tynecastle club can end the destructive duopoly, without the need for a journey to the High Court.

Time is short.

It appears people are in place on the Hearts Board and on the Foundation of Hearts Board who can lead Scottish football out of the mire.

BUT those people MUST act.

Robbie Neilson is Hearts Ferguson. He can shoot down the Old Firm from their perches.

But Robbie cannot call on help from NATO – he can only get his rockets from those now running the club.

The Summer Transfer Window will tell a clear story.

Hearts must invest £ millions to strengthen the playing squad, to start the process leading towards dislodging Celtic and Rangers.

If they fail to do so, all hope is gone.

The Board must BELIEVE.

The Time for Change?

NOW.
