Jorge Grant made a very expensive judgement call.
He tried to “earn” a penalty – but instead received his marching orders for two yellow cards.
This probably cost Hearts a place in the Europa League Group Stages, with a number of glamour ties missed.
It also somewhat knocked the team off the rails.
Before the loss of Grant, Hearts had been playing some of their best football for years.
After his departure, the high fizzled out and it has taken a while for the team to get back on track.
That said, Jorge should be retained. He is talented and can make a difference.
But we do have the best squad for 50 years at Tynecastle.
So he will need to fight for his place in the starting eleven – which is good for everyone, including him!
Time for Change.
