Hearts report £3 million operating profit – and it will be more next year.
As EPL clubs change hands – and greedy private equity investors rub their hands – Hearts remain in charge of their own future, in full control of their destiny.
Fan ownership has been brilliantly successful.
The Foundation of Hearts is now able to support the club finances to the tune of £1.7 million a year and hopes to increase this to £2 million soon.
This funding is vital to Hearts as we build towards knocking Celtic and Rangers off their perches.
Well done to us all – the 8800 members of the Foundation; every supporter; all those on the business side of the club; and to Robbie Neilson and all those who work with him on the playing side, including his increasingly excellent squad of players.
The work continues – as will the ownership of Hearts by supporters; FOREVER.
