Hibs will struggle this season – and the return of Martin Boyle won’t change the situation.
They are simply not good enough.
The Scotsman – basically, a Hibs fanzine – is flooding its pages with stories about the Leith club early because the scribes know just how quickly things can go wrong.
Two defeats against Livingston and Rangers in the next week or so would leave the season looking a wash out before it has properly started.
All Hibs have to look forward to is the next derby match against Hearts.
