Being upset about John Souttar agreeing to join Rangers is understandable.
I am – VERY.
However, John turned out last night and played well, putting everything into the performance.
He could not be criticised for any aspect of his play and did not deserve recriminations from sections of the Hearts support.
My anger is now reserved for Rangers.
They persuaded the player to sign for them and seem now to have left him high and dry.
If he suffers a serious injury, he will lose the contract that he has just signed with Rangers.
The Glasgow club have left Souttar in an awful position.
This is unacceptable.
Rangers now need to make Hearts a decent offer so JS can go before the end of January.
