Ryan Stevenson judges that Hearts are two players away from challenging Celtic and Rangers.
And he is absolutely correct.
This is the finest squad at Tynecastle for more than 50 years. Everything one looks, there is a class act, ready to do their best for Hearts.
The two areas that need strengthening?
Hearts need a further striker. There is not enough cover/support for Liam Boyce.
There is also the need for a more creative midfield player. The players currently in the squad are excellent – but they are probably more defensive that constructive.
Of course, all of this depends on Hearts keeping the good players they already have.
It is to be hoped that they will stay. They can all become legends by winning the Premiership.
After 36 years, Scottish football badly needs new champions.
Hearts can do it, so long as the players really
BELIEVE.
