I am very good pleased for Hibs that they beat Rangers the other day.
Every time the Old Firm lose domestically is good news for Scottish football.
However, Hibs have not won the league for 69 years.
Addressing that failure is the most critical issue facing the club, just as Hearts 61 years of failure most also be ended soon.
If Hibs were to finish above Hearts in the league, to my mind it is a worthless achievement in a situation where Celtic and Rangers are twenty or more points clear at the top.
Being content with being the best of the Also Rans means that a club has accepted that there is no chance of winning the league.
Such a stance is not acceptable for Hibs or Hearts.
Both clubs MUST be challenging at the top and, at a minimum, be regularly beating Celtic and Rangers in Edinburgh.
Rangers and Celtic ARE weaker this season and CAN be challenged.
It will be pathetic if the Edinburgh clubs fail to do so.
What must they do?
BELIEVE.
Time for Change.
