Motherwell’s intention was clear yesterday.
Keep football to a minimum; unsettle Hearts passing game; win ugly.
They got their way, so that a team which abjectly surrendered to Rangers 6:1 has now beaten Aberdeen and Hearts in successive matches.
That is the way of it in Scotland. The Also Rans slit each other’s throats, meantime mostly offering little against the Old Firm.
Hearts are now threatening to fall too far behind Rangers and Celtic to be judged serious challengers.
One more defeat against an Also Ran and Hearts will be playing for third – again.
That would be unacceptable.
This Hearts squad IS good enough to win the league – IF they really apply themselves.
Last Chance Hotel is next Saturday.
St Mirren must be beaten, to set Hearts up a visit to Parkhead.
Show your strength Hearts AND
BELIEVE.
Time for Change.
