Scott Brown is a good football player who has improved his rewards from the game by cheating.
This has been going on for years, mostly unchecked by the so-called “authorities.”
Brown may have been wearing an Aberdeen jersey – but he was really playing for Celtic last week, desperately trying to support their title bid by undermining their main opponents and cheating as he deemed necessary.
Aberdeen are a sideshow in all of this. They will win nothing, partly because Brown will go missing against the clubs he doesn’t see as any threat to Celtic.
Of course, the Scottish media lap this up, because it all supports the awful duopoly of Rangers/Celtic, one that they have been helping to sustain for four decades.
Brown to them is a “genius”, because his cheating has worked for years.
Hearts were not very good on Saturday. They looked jaded. However, the fact remains that they were deprived of a draw – and lost their unbeaten record – because of cheating by Brown
The Hearts players must decide this week: are the going to let a cheat like Brown win -or are they going to fight on, winning against Dundee United on Saturday to sustain their league challenge?
Let’s hope they find the spirit to fight on.
Time for Change.
