Why wouldn’t you see Hearts and Hibs as title contenders, asks Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou?
The answer for Hibs will come on Wednesday.
A foolish red card lost them a match at Ibrox; they were outplayed & beaten by Dundee United at home; they lost to an Aberdeen side yesterday that couldn’t beat a carpet until facing Hibs.
So visiting Celtic is a daunting task for Hibs.
To be fair, Hibs have had injuries – but that simply underlines their squad depth, which is a puddle, not a lake.
I hope Hibs can take some points against Celtic – but I have no confidence they will do so.
It may be left to Hearts to challenge the Glasgow duopoly.
They may have the squad resources to do so.
We will find out this week.
They must take points in Perth and Aberdeen.
