Ange Postecoglou: he was on a ledge as soon as he arrived in Scotland. It has simply got much narrower. #SPFL #ScottishFootball #Celtic #Rangers #Hearts #Hibs

ANGE Postecoglou got his current job too late to enable him to do it properly this season.

The lack of preparedness for the challenge ahead cost the then Celtic CEO his job – but his departure has not helped Ange or Celtic.

Rushing new signings in, whilst seeing some “star” players exit, was no way to build for a successful season.

As it turns out, injuries have not assisted Ange – but injuries are part and parcel of the game.

So Ange is teetering on the edge of his now very narrow ledge. By 16 October, he could be in free-fall, with nowhere to go but down.

The two weeks from 2nd October onwards are momentous for Scottish football.

During this period, Rangers welcome unbeaten Hibs and Hearts to Ibrox, whilst Celtic travel away to Aberdeen and then Motherwell.

In between the league fixtures, Scotland’s national team try to push on to World Cup qualification.

There are a number of permutations of results over two short weeks.

The Old Firm dropping six points each plus Scotland winning would be absolutely ideal.

New champions are required for the Scottish Premiership in season 21/21 – and Scotland need to be at the World Cup Finals for the first time since 1998.

Fingers crossed on all counts!

Time for Change.
