Hearts now have a much stronger squad than last season.
Every player brought in has been in the “excellent” category.
Can Hearts even begin to think about challenge for the Premiership title?
Not yet.
But if they can go to Ibrox in October in 1st position in the league, the signs will be very positive – and if they can go to Celtic Park in the same position in December, the challenge will be genuinely ON.
It will take a small miracle – but it is just possible.
However, any progress on the pitch must NOT be used by Dithering Directors as the excuse for doing zero off the pitch.
