The four prime stories in Scottish football:
* Rangers are great.
* Rangers are terrible.
* Celtic are great.
* Celtic are terrible.
These four stories are constantly recycled as the media help to sustain an awful duopoly which has strangled the life out of the Also Rans and their supporters for 36 years.
Minor disruptions ARE possible EG a club from Perth which has no chance of winning the league ensured Celtics ” Quad Treble” ran for only four seasons.
But the cups are a side show. It is the league the Old Firm crave; the “glory” plus the money from European competition.
As noted, some disruption on the pitch is possible – BUT the problems of Scottish football can only start to be solved by the directors of the Also Rans challenging the duopoly away from the pitches on which their clubs cannot currently genuinely compete.
They must find some COURAGE!
Time for Change.
