The Celtic Board have planned for a mediocre future for the club.
It is up to the ten Also Rans to grant them their wish.
Starting tonight, Celtic can be given a dreadful season. Not Ange P’s fault – but he will be the Fall Guy.
Celtic can be in turmoil all season, with the “green” in the Brigade mainly being envy of Rangers.
Meantime, though Rangers cannot be stopped from winning the league title, the Ibrox “faithful” can be kept grumpy by not allowing Govans finest to win any cup they contest.
SG will soon find that one trophy a season is nowhere near enough, not when Celtic can still boast of a recent Quad Treble.
So the target this season for the Also Rans is to keep the supporters of the Glasgow Twins unhappy.
Meantime, the directors of the Also Rans should be confronting the Old Firm with the changes tabled by Scottish Football Matters.
Pay £20 million a year each for SPFL membership – or leave. This is a message that will terrify the Twins, especially when their whining supporters are demanding more trophies that cannot be delivered.
It will take a couple of seasons to end the duopoly that has strangled Scottish football for 36 years – BUT it can be done!
Time for Change.
