Rangers and Celtic can’t be allowed to play in the Carabao Cup in England, if they are just going to be tourists.
No. They must “live” entirely in England and take their boring and poisonous rivalry out of Scotland entirely.
Then the Scottish Premiership can be a properly competitive league, with different winners every year.
Competition = EXCITEMENT!
Of course, Rangers, though easily winning the boring Two Horse race last season, still need money rather badly.
So this daft Carabao Caper is aimed at safeguarding the Old Firms access to the Champions League gold mine, whilst preparing the ground for a complete move to England at some point in the future.
In the meantime, the Also Rans will be expected to do what they always do brilliantly – FAIL.
That is NOT a workable solution for the ills of the Scottish Premiership.
36 seasons of failure for the Also Rans cannot be allowed to stretch on for more seasons of boredom, just because it suits Celtic and Rangers.
The finances and structure of Scottish football need radical overhaul NOW, in 2021!
