Apparently four English clubs are interested in signing Ryan Kent from Rangers.
The quoted price is £15 million.
If Kent was playing at Hibs, the quoted price would be £2.5 million.
It is one of the major issues in Scottish football that the Also Rans almost never get proper value for their players.
If Messi had started his career at Hibs as a young teenager, he would in all probability have ended up signing for Celtic, with Hibs receiving only a compensation payment because he graduated through their academy.
Scottish football is run solely with the interests of the duopoly partners in mind.
The supporters of other clubs are being treated with contempt.
They deserve so much better.
