Paul Hanlon wrongly claims Hibs cup win and third-placed finish would surpass hoodoo-busting triumph over Rangers in 2016. Without beating the Old Firm, it is a hollow victory. #Celtic #Rangers #Hibs #Hearts #Aberdeen #SPFL #ScottishFootball #scottishfootballmatters

Hibs will finish best of the Also Rans this season.

3rd.

More than 30 points behind Rangers.

30 points is the equivalent of 10 defeats.

Such a points deficit would leave Hibs struggling against relegation in some European leagues.

Hibs have failed to beat Celtic & Rangers in five meetings so far this season.

They have not met Celtic or Rangers in any cup competition.

Hibs have not “challenged” the Old Firm in any way this season, their 71st-in-row without winning the top league.

Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen and the other Also Rans have got to stop pretending failure is success.

These three “challengers” have gone 168 years in aggregate without winning the top league.

In that time, their long-suffering supporters have spent more than £1 Billion buying match tickets for home fixtures alone.

In the meantime, in 1980, the Also Rans failed to stop Celtic and Rangers grabbing 100% of their home gate revenues. The extra £700 million at today’s prices this has earned the Glasgow clubs has cemented their total domination of the Premiership.

How can all this be described?

Not good enough?

A TOTAL DISGRACE.

Time for Change.
