Ex-Professionals Absolutely Correct to Support Robbie Neilson …

In this very silly article, Craig Fowler says unhappy supporters shouldn’t be ignored.

Correct. I am an unhappy supporter who is really angry with the Scottish media – including the fast-fading Scotsman – for helping to support a Celtic/Rangers duopoly which has been squeezing the life out of Scottish football for 36 years.

The media would rather focus on bringing managers down, managers who have literally had no chance of success in the Premiership because of the structure and financial arrangements.

Robbie Neilson has zero chance of winning the Premiership next season, unless he moves to Celtic or Rangers.

However, the season after that, when the changes Scottish Football Matters advocates can start to take effect, will be different.

No more victimisation of managers

It is time for radical changes, with the Old Firm stumping up £40 million a season to fund the Premiership as a competition and clubs only playing each other twice a season.

The Scotsman and Glasgow Herald need to get behind these changes right NOW.

Time for Change.
