Neil Doncaster can only contemplate changes that suit Celtic and Rangers.
They are in the engine room, instructing their Captain that straight ahead is the only viable course. He then tells his band on the deck to keep playing that tune.
Sadly for Neil, the “also rans” – every other club outside the Big Two – are no longer prepared to listen to a tune that has been a funeral march for Scottish football for 36 duopoly-ridden seasons.
Scottish football needs to return to something analogous to the pre 1980 home gate receipt sharing arrangements AND there needs to be a bigger Premiership, with each club meeting each other only twice.
Start supporting those changes, Captain. Your engine room is flooded and the changes required are the only viable lifeboat for Scottish football.
