Hearts supporters are fed-up because Hearts aren’t winning every Championship fixture comfortably.
They are also fed-up because Hearts lost a Cup tie to a non-league club.
Here’s the harsh reality, though.
Even if Hearts has won every league match comfortably this season; even if they had won every cup match; even if they had looked scintillating against the “wee teams” – Hearts would STILL have returned to the Premiership to take up the role of “Also Rans”, alongside the other nine “Also Rans”.
Hearts have no hope of challenging Celtic and Rangers with the current structure and funding arrangements of the SPFL. Nor do Aberdeen or Hibs.
ABSOLUTELY NO HOPE.
