Brora Rangers are being portrayed as a wee team, a tiny tot in football terms.
Brora certainly well deserved their win against Hearts in the Scottish Cup – but they were not excellent. They were simply determined and fought for every scrap.
This match is simply more evidence that Scottish football is of a very poor standard. Even the Big Two are mediocre by the standards of most other leagues; they are made to look better than they are by the dismal also-rans.
Hibs, the third best team in the Premiership, are so far behind the winners that they would be in danger of relegation in many other European leagues eg in France Hibs would be 16th currently.
Well done the wee team – but then again all but two Scottish teams are wee….
